This page explains in plain English how paying for Wavqu works, how to change or cancel, and why all purchases are final. It also covers optional assisted setup (section 11). It is part of our Terms of Service. If the two ever disagree, the Terms of Service apply.
Before you pay
The site quotes this paragraph word for word, above the payment button, on the card and crypto checkout pages:
All Wavqu subscription purchases are final. There is no money-back guarantee and no refund for unused time or for trading losses. Card plans renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals, and access continues until your paid period ends. Crypto access ends when the period you bought ends. It does not renew. Your statutory consumer rights in your country are not affected.
1. The plans
| Plan | Monthly | 6 months, paid upfront | Annual, paid upfront | Deposit limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $100 | $575 (4% off) | $1,100 (8% off) | $2,000 |
| Standard | $250 | $1,375 (8% off) | $2,625 (13% off) | $5,000 |
| Pro | $500 | $2,625 (13% off) | $5,000 (17% off) | $10,000 |
| Ultimate | $1,000 | $5,250 (13% off) | $10,000 (17% off) | Unlimited |
Prices are in US dollars. Six-month and annual access is charged upfront, in one payment. Each discount compares the price with paying monthly for the same time, rounded to the nearest whole percent.
Introductory offer: Starter monthly
- Your first month on Starter with monthly billing costs $50 instead of $100.
- From the second month, the normal monthly price of $100 applies. On a card plan, we charge $100 at each renewal until you cancel; the first renewal is charged 7 days before your introductory month ends (section 3). With crypto, your next month costs $100.
- The checkout shows the $50 first payment and the $100 monthly price that follows, before you pay.
- You can have one introductory month per customer and per MT4 account.
- The offer is not available on six-month or annual billing, on a downgrade to Starter, or if you cancel and subscribe again.
- The offer does not apply to Ultimate.
- All purchases are final, including the introductory month. See section 8.
Ultimate
Ultimate is the fourth plan. It costs twice as much as Pro.
- Ultimate has an unlimited deposit allowance. Your deposits never pause new baskets.
- "Unlimited" refers only to the deposit allowance. It does not mean unlimited trading exposure. It does not remove any risk control.
- Ultimate uses the same trading strategy as every other plan. Position sizing, the grid, hedges, entries, exits and protective controls are unchanged. This includes the local safety net.
- Ultimate never pauses new baskets because of your starting balance, your additional deposits, or deposit history that cannot be verified.
- All other checks still apply. These are the licence, payment, account currency and linked account checks.
- The Wavqu EA still reports your funding history. We keep it in case you later move to another plan (section 5.4).
- Ultimate applies only after your payment is verified as successful.
- You can pay by card subscription or buy Bitcoin prepaid access, as for the other plans.
- Ultimate covers one MT4 account.
- The more you deposit, the more money you can lose. Read the Risk Disclosure.
Deposit limits
Starter, Standard and Pro each have a deposit limit. Ultimate does not. A deposit limit limits how much of your own money is in the account. It does not limit how large your balance can grow. Wavqu tracks your own money as your "capital at risk".
Capital at risk = your external deposits, minus your external withdrawals, minus your net realised trading loss. The realised part counts only while the account's closed trades add up to a net loss. A net realised profit counts as zero.
Available deposit allowance = your deposit limit minus your capital at risk.
- Deposits use up your allowance.
- Withdrawals and realised trading losses restore it.
- Realised profit never counts against it. Profit can take your balance above the deposit limit without restricting trading.
- If you later win back a realised loss by trading, the allowance that loss freed is used up again.
- Only closed trades count. Floating losses on open trades do not.
- An available deposit allowance of zero is fine. Trading continues.
The deposit limit applies in your MT4 account's deposit currency. There is no exchange-rate conversion. For example, the Starter deposit limit is $2,000, or 2,000 in GBP or EUR. These are account eligibility limits, not recommended investment amounts.
Example: Starter, deposit limit 2,000
| What happens | Capital at risk | Available deposit allowance |
|---|---|---|
| You deposit 2,000 | 2,000 | 0 |
| Closed trades lose 500 | 1,500 | 500 |
| You deposit 500 | 2,000 | 0 |
If instead your closed trades make 500 profit after your first deposit, your capital at risk stays 2,000 and your allowance stays 0. Your balance is 2,500, and trading continues.
If, after the 500 loss, you win the 500 back by trading instead of depositing, your capital at risk returns to 2,000 and your allowance returns to 0.
If a deposit goes over your allowance
Wavqu cannot stop you depositing at your broker. On Starter, Standard or Pro, if you deposit more than your available deposit allowance:
- Wavqu pauses new baskets.
- Existing baskets continue normal management. This includes grid additions, hedges, take-profits and the local safety net.
- Existing baskets are not closed because of the deposit limit.
- New baskets can start again automatically once your capital at risk is back at or below your deposit limit. A withdrawal does this. Realised trading losses also count. You can also upgrade to a plan with a higher deposit limit, or to Ultimate. The strategy decides when the next basket starts.
How we check it
Wavqu works out your capital at risk from the deposit, withdrawal and closed-trade history that your MT4 terminal reports. Set MT4's Account History tab to "All History" so the full history is visible.
When the EA cannot report your funding
On Starter, Standard and Pro, new baskets need reliable deposit reporting. If the Wavqu EA cannot report your funding, your eligibility is shown as "unverified" and Wavqu pauses new baskets. Your dashboard tells you why, and what to do:
| Why | What you do |
|---|---|
| Your Wavqu EA is out of date and does not report deposits | Update the Wavqu EA |
| Your history has not been reported yet, or is still being sent | Wait for reporting to finish |
| Your history is incomplete, or does not add up to your balance | In MT4, set the Account History tab to "All History" |
History can be incomplete, for example, if you funded the account before installing the Wavqu EA and MT4 is not set to show all history.
While new baskets are paused:
- Existing baskets continue normal management. This includes grid additions, hedges, take-profits and the local safety net.
- Existing baskets are not closed because of the pause.
- New baskets can start again once reporting is reliable and your capital at risk is within your deposit limit. The strategy decides when the next basket starts.
If the problem does not clear, contact us at support@wavqu.com.
Statistics on your dashboard may take up to 24 hours to appear. This delay is separate from the reporting needed for eligibility.
Ultimate does not pause new baskets for any of these reasons. See "Ultimate" above.
Supported currencies and accounts
At launch, Wavqu supports accounts in GBP, USD and EUR only. If your account uses another currency, contact us at support@wavqu.com before you subscribe. We need to review it first.
Every plan covers one MT4 account.
2. Card or crypto: the difference at a glance
| Card (Stripe) | Crypto (Bitcoin, through our own BTCPay Server) | |
|---|---|---|
| What you buy | A subscription, billed monthly, every six months or every year | A fixed period: one month, six months or one year |
| Renews automatically? | Yes, until you cancel | No. It just ends. |
| What you do to keep going | Nothing. We charge your card 7 days before your current access ends, for the next period. | Pay again before the period ends |
| Upgrade | Starts as soon as you pay the prorated difference, charged to your card | Starts when a separate invoice for the prorated difference is paid and settled |
| Downgrade | Starts on your next charge date (7 days before your access ends). No refund or credit. | Starts at the end of your current paid period. No refund or credit. |
| Cancel | On your dashboard. Future charges stop; access continues to the date you have paid to. | Nothing to cancel |
| Payment fails | Access continues for the 7 days already paid for while the card is retried, then stops | Not applicable |
| Reminder email | 3 days before every renewal charge | 7 days and 1 day before the period ends |
| Payment does not match the invoice | Not applicable | Recorded for manual review. See section 8.5. |
| Refunds | All purchases are final. See section 8. | All purchases are final. See section 8. |
3. Paying by card
- Stripe takes the payment. We never see your full card number.
- Your subscription starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. You pay the full price of your first period (one month, six months or one year) and get access for that whole period.
- It renews automatically until you cancel. Each renewal is charged 7 days before your current access ends and buys the next period. Every payment buys one full period of access, so you never pay for the same days twice and no days are free.
- For example: subscribe to a monthly plan on 1 October and your access runs to 1 November; the next payment is taken on 24 October, 7 days before, and buys the month from 1 November. Six-month and annual plans work the same way and are charged upfront for the whole period.
- We email you 3 days before every renewal charge with the amount and the date. Your dashboard always shows your next charge date and the date your access runs to.
- You can change your card and download invoices from the billing portal linked on your dashboard.
If a card payment fails
- Your subscription is marked "past due". Your dashboard shows a red notice with the number of days of access left and an "Update card" button, and we email you the same day.
- You keep access for the 7 days you have already paid for, while Stripe retries your card.
- If a retry or your updated card goes through in that time, your access carries on without a break, exactly as after a normal renewal.
- If the payment has still not gone through when your access ends, new trades stop until you subscribe again. No extra days are given.
- Open trades keep their take-profits and the local safety net the whole time.
- When a payment goes through, the same licence key works again.
4. Paying with crypto
- We take crypto payments through BTCPay Server. This is payment software that Wavqu runs on its own infrastructure. No outside payment company handles your payment.
- We accept Bitcoin (BTC) sent on the Bitcoin network ("on-chain"). We do not accept other coins or other networks. If we add Lightning payments later, we will update this page.
- You buy one month, six months or one year of one plan, at the prices in section 1. You pay for the whole period upfront.
- The payment request (the "invoice") shows the exact amount of bitcoin to send and the address to send it to. It is valid for 30 minutes only, because bitcoin prices change. If it expires before you pay, nothing is owed: create a new invoice.
- Pay each invoice once, in one payment, before it expires.
- You pay any network fees. Send enough to cover them, so that the full invoice amount arrives. If you pay from an exchange, check that it does not take its fee from the amount sent.
- Your access starts once the payment is confirmed on the Bitcoin network. This can take some time.
- Crypto access does not renew automatically. It ends at the end of the period you bought. To continue, buy another period. We email you a reminder 7 days before your crypto access ends, and again 1 day before, with a link to renew.
- A payment that does not match its invoice is a payment exception. See section 8.5.
5. Changing your plan
5.1 Upgrading by card
The plans in order, lowest first, are Starter, Standard, Pro and Ultimate.
An upgrade is a change where the plan stays the same or goes higher, and the billing period stays the same or gets longer. For example: Starter to Pro on the same period, monthly to annual on the same plan, or Starter monthly to Standard annual.
- We charge the difference for the rest of your current period, through Stripe. This is called "proration".
- The confirmation page shows the exact amount, and your new renewal date, before you agree.
- The upgrade starts straight away once that payment goes through.
- Your new deposit limit applies straight away.
5.2 Downgrading by card
A downgrade is any change where the plan goes lower or the billing period gets shorter, even if the other part goes up. The whole change then waits until the end of your current paid period. For example, Starter annual to Pro monthly is a downgrade, because the period is shorter.
- It starts on your next charge date, 7 days before your current access ends, and that charge is at the new plan's price.
- You keep your current plan and deposit limit until then.
- No refund or credit is given for a downgrade.
- Your dashboard shows the change that is waiting and the date.
If your capital at risk is above the lower deposit limit when the downgrade starts, Wavqu pauses new baskets until your capital at risk is back at or below that limit. Existing baskets continue normal management.
5.3 Changing plan with crypto
Upgrades and downgrades mean the same as in sections 5.1 and 5.2, including changes that combine a plan and a billing period.
Upgrading
- We create a separate invoice for the difference for the rest of your current period. This is the prorated difference.
- Your upgrade starts as soon as that invoice is paid and settled. Until then, you keep your current plan and deposit limit.
- If the billing period stays the same, your period still ends on the same date.
- If the billing period gets longer, your new end date is measured from the start of your current period. For example, if your current month started on 1 March and you upgrade to annual, your access runs to 1 March the next year. The invoice shows the amount and your new end date.
- The usual crypto rules apply to this invoice, including payment exceptions (section 8.5).
Downgrading
- A downgrade starts at the end of your current paid period. Choose the lower plan or shorter interval when you buy your next period.
- No refund or credit is given for a downgrade.
Switching to card billing
- You can switch from crypto to a card subscription.
- Your card access starts at the end of your current prepaid period. As with every card renewal, the first card payment is taken 7 days before that, unless your prepaid period ends within 7 days, in which case it is taken when you switch.
- Prepaid crypto time is not carried over or refunded.
5.4 Moving to or from Ultimate
These rules apply to card and crypto. The rest of section 5 still applies.
Upgrading to Ultimate
- Your upgrade takes effect after your payment is verified as successful. For card, that is the prorated payment. For crypto, that is the separate invoice, once it settles.
- Any pause caused by your deposits or by deposit reporting then ends.
- The strategy decides when the next basket starts. A basket may not open straight away.
Downgrading from Ultimate
- Your downgrade takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You keep Ultimate until then.
- We then check your new plan's deposit limit against your account's funding history. We keep that history while you are on Ultimate.
- If your capital at risk is over the new limit, Wavqu pauses new baskets. Existing baskets continue normal management.
- From then on, the usual deposit-limit and reporting rules for your new plan apply (section 1).
- No refund or credit is given for a downgrade.
6. Changing your MT4 account
- Each subscription covers one MT4 account number.
- You can change it once every 30 days, on your dashboard.
- Your licence key stays the same. It moves to the new account.
- The old account stops getting new instructions straight away.
- Trades still open on the old account keep their take-profits and the local safety net while the EA stays attached there.
- Your dashboard shows when your next change is allowed.
The 30-day rule applies to card and crypto customers alike.
7. Cancelling
Card subscriptions
- Cancel at any time on your dashboard. It takes one step.
- Future charges stop. The renewal that would have been taken 7 days before your access ends is not taken.
- You keep access until the date you have paid to. Your dashboard shows it.
- Changed your mind? Use "Resume" on your dashboard before your last charge date. After that, subscribe again from the dashboard.
- Cancelling does not give you a refund for the rest of the period. See section 8.
Crypto access
There is nothing to cancel. Crypto access does not renew. It ends at the end of the period you paid for, unless you buy another period.
What happens to your trades
Cancelling, or your access ending, does not close your trades. New trades stop. Open trades keep their take-profits and the local safety net while MT4 is running and the EA is attached. If you remove the EA, the safety net stops too. If you want trades closed, close them in MT4 yourself.
8. Refunds
8.1 All purchases are final
- All Wavqu subscription purchases are final. This applies to card and crypto payments.
- Wavqu does not offer voluntary refunds. There is no money-back guarantee.
- We do not refund unused access. This includes time left after you cancel, downgrade or stop using Wavqu.
- We explain this before you pay. See "Before you pay" at the top of this page.
- The optional assisted setup fee follows the same rules as subscriptions in this section. See section 11.
- This policy does not affect any statutory consumer rights you have in your country. See section 9.
8.2 Trading losses
Trading losses do not entitle you to a refund of your subscription. Your subscription pays for the software and the service, not for any trading result.
8.3 Refunds we owe you
These are not voluntary refunds. They cover cases where we do not supply what you paid for, or take a payment in error. We will refund you for any time you have paid for but cannot use if:
- we stop offering Wavqu altogether;
- we end your access without a good reason under our Terms of Service;
- you cancel because we made a change to the service, prices or terms that is to your disadvantage (the refund covers time after the change takes effect);
- we charged your card by mistake, for example twice for the same period.
Crypto payments that do not match their invoice are covered by section 8.5, not this section.
8.4 How refunds are paid
- Card: back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. It may take 5 to 10 working days to appear, depending on your card issuer.
- Crypto: our system never refunds automatically. A crypto refund you are owed under section 8.3, or that the law requires, is recorded for manual review and paid by hand by our support team. We pay it in bitcoin, at the US-dollar value of the refund on the day we approve it. You pay the Bitcoin network fee, which is taken from the amount sent. We send the refund only to a Bitcoin address that you confirm to us by email from your verified Wavqu account email address. Bitcoin payments cannot be reversed. A wrong refund address means the money is lost, so check it carefully before you confirm it.
To ask for a refund you are owed, email support@wavqu.com with your account email address and the payment date.
8.5 Crypto payment exceptions
Crypto payments can go wrong in ways card payments cannot. A payment that does not match its invoice is a "payment exception". These are:
- Underpayment: less than the invoice amount arrives.
- Overpayment: more than the invoice amount arrives.
- Duplicate payment: you pay the same invoice more than once.
- Late payment: your payment arrives after the invoice has expired.
- Wrong network: you send funds on a different network, or as a different coin, from the one the invoice shows.
What happens:
- We record each payment exception for manual review. We do not treat it as payment for access.
- If the full invoice amount arrived on time, you get the access you bought. Only the extra or repeated amount is the exception.
- Otherwise, access does not start automatically.
- We do not refund payment exceptions automatically.
- We do not turn extra funds into extra access or credit.
- To resolve a payment exception, email support@wavqu.com with your account email address and the invoice reference. We review each case by hand and tell you the outcome.
- Funds sent on the wrong network may not be recoverable.
9. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer, the law of the country where you live may give you rights that this policy cannot take away. These may include a right to cancel or a right to a refund. Nothing in this policy affects those rights.
To use a statutory right, email support@wavqu.com with your account email address. If a refund is due, we pay it using the same payment method. For crypto payments, see section 8.4.
Cancelling on the dashboard stops renewal. It does not by itself ask for a refund. Cancelling does not close trades on your broker account.
10. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us first at support@wavqu.com. We will try to sort it out quickly. If you start a chargeback with your bank, we may pause your access while it is looked at.
11. Assisted setup (optional)
Assisted setup is an optional paid service. A member of our support team connects to your computer or VPS through TeamViewer. They help you install and configure Wavqu in MT4.
11.1 Price and payment
- Assisted setup costs $50, one time.
- It is optional. The option is shown unticked at checkout; you only pay for it if you tick it and complete that separate payment.
- You need a paid Wavqu subscription before we deliver the session.
- The fee is separate from your subscription. It is not part of any subscription charge, and it is not charged again when your subscription renews.
- You can pay the fee by card or with Bitcoin, as a separate one-time payment.
11.2 Booking
Book your session by emailing support@wavqu.com from your Wavqu account email with your order reference and two or three time slots, with your timezone. We confirm by email.
11.3 What it covers
- Assisted setup is installation and configuration support only.
- It is not investment advice. We do not tell you how much to deposit or whether Wavqu suits you.
- It does not guarantee any trading result.
- You stay responsible for your MT4, your VPS and your broker account.
11.4 How a session works
- You start the session. We connect only after you give explicit consent.
- You stay present for the whole session. We never use unattended access.
- You type your broker passwords and security codes yourself.
- We never ask for seed phrases, private keys or control over withdrawals.
- We never store TeamViewer passwords.
- We end remote access when the session finishes.
Never give these details to anyone claiming to be from Wavqu. Our Privacy Policy explains the data we keep for assisted setup.
11.5 Refunds
The assisted setup fee follows the refund rules in section 8. All purchases are final. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected (section 9).
11.6 Text for the checkout or booking page
The site shows this next to the assisted setup option:
Assisted setup is optional. It costs $50, one time, separate from your subscription. Our support team connects through TeamViewer, with your consent and while you are present, to help you install and configure Wavqu in MT4. It is setup help only. It is not investment advice and does not guarantee any trading result. A paid subscription is needed before the session. All purchases are final.
